I received the eAR Master One and I put it into my system over the weekend.
The installation went OK without any problems. I use a separate PC only for the eAR Master One.
It is built only for this application, because of that I hope it will be very stable.
The eAR Master One is fantastic, now the system can perform the best sound what I ever heard.
Now I have to re-listen all of my albums with this new sound:-))

eAR Master One and the eAR 202's are running since saturday morning, now it is sunday.
I don't know if break-in is done, I believe that a few more days are necessary but here are my first though :
Treble are crystal clear, high defined at any levels, thanks to the eAR Master One, the eAR 202 are quite good
power amp, no coloration, treble are soft but detailed, bass are thight and powerfull.
I enjoy the sound imaging, nice soundstage, stereo is truely here.
I use foobar and the channel divider to manage active (digital) crossover between my two TAD components,
everything is OK !!!!
The whole system is very quiet at idle which is very important with high efficiency systems.
The eAR Master One preamplifier impressed me, it is the first time that I can manage volume with such quality
at any level in an active crossover system! (now digital)

I have bought a eAR Master One and I am simply amazed with
it. It last lot of punch, but at the same it is detailed, refined and
emotive. Of course I am using it with an eAR power amplifier (202).

I got the amps saturday. They have been running continuously since sat 5 pm even not really broken in they are
very promessing and truthful to the music. Another 2 weeks I think they will be at their best they replace a pair
of 105 class A reference Luxman weighing in at 96 pounds each so far I mostly miss the heat.
I will like to follow the same connection lay out that I had before and will add another set for true bi- amping.

First impression: Internet pictures are not as good as the real thing. First audible impression,
although their still "ice-powered" out of the box from a cold trip out of Denmark, absolutely stunning,
first thing I noticed was ????? couldn't get the hang of it, then it hit me, absolute silence, wow.
If this is only the sound when there cold and not yet "broken" in I can't wait to hear them when they are
"warmed" up.

My simple audio & 2 channel av system are as follows:
Mark Levinson no. 39L -> eAR 1001 -> DynAudio Special 25
Cardas Cross (XLR), Kimber Monocle x (sp), Audiopus Hercules 3300 (pwr)
Sharp Z201e projector, Panasonic dvdp, lg hd tuner, os puremat 2+ screen
Two weeks have passed since i got tiny but powerful eAR 1001 amps.
It is characterized by high speed, transparent, cool & clear nature, & amazing driving forces.
As you know, dynaudio's 8 inch woofer is not easily controlled by
some power amps.
But eAR 1001 shows me a promising potency during last 2 wks,
although its sound is somwhat different from that of 30-40kg - weighted A class amps:
high speed vs medium or so, light & bright tone vs heavy & dark tone...
In conclusion, its performance & cost-effectiveness is superior to any other amps worldwide.

Many of audiophiles live in Japan auditioned four pair of eAR1001 that arrived at last X'mas, and one pair of eAR1001 that
arrived at last September. And..., they have become cruel prisoners of eAR amplifier!

A first ! For two reasons
1) To have a manufacturer phone you up to check that everything was going alright is outstanding customer support.
2) I have an audiophile friend with top end equipment Krell, ATC etc. and have spent time going to quality audio
presentations at different times and having just received my eAR Master One and eaR 202, I am astonished at the experience
I am having. If you are reasonably competent at setting up a hifi system setting up the eAR Master One is straight forward
provided you follow the clear instructions step by step. The power amp is completely straight forward. I am using the system
through my Shahinian Arc speakers which are known for their sound staging and clarity and my old computer with an added firewire
port. ( My CD player is in the cupboard now!)
The effect is incredible! The room disappears and every detail is vibrant and alive ( I have a small listening room which is
acoustically difficult). I Find it difficult to believe that anything could be better at any price and certainly not at the price
that a mortal like me could ever afford. All music is treated the same whether it is The Magic Flute, Dire Straights or an old
recording of Billy Holiday, it is clear and enthralling although the system does reveal poor quality CD's.
My main problem is that it is too easy to listen at to high a level because it does not sound louder, it just sounds that you are
closer to the performance. It is just increasable.
All I can say is thank you I am listening to more than I ever expected to be able too.

In the end of last week eAR1001 arrived at Yokohama Japan. I say that it is grateful from heart.
The installation of eAR1001 put out the very big result. Depending, I write the quick report below.
It is as follows of my line-up:
Loudspeakers = THIEL CS7.2
Pre amplifier = Mark Levinson No.38
CD player = ACCUPHASE DP-70V
In the past, I used JEFF ROWLAND MODEL 1 amplifier. But as for this amplifier wattage was small in comparison with the required quantity of my THIELs, detail reappearance of classical music was no good. Then I decided to install eAR1001 in trial.

The transparency of eAR1001 is superior preeminently. As for the sound field space which eAR1001 creates having been perfectly clear, barely there is no either haze. In order in the past, "high-end amplifier builder" to produce the "transparent impression" of the high frequency range, a kind of character has been added artificially. But, eAR1001 does not have that kind of character altogether. eAR's sound is very hyaline.
The reproducibility in detail and low level is very satisfactory. The S/N of this amplifier is good fearfully. The grain of sound comes from the very quiet background and standing up suddenly. Because of that detail reappearance is preeminently satisfactory. The merit of eAR1001 not only to be ultra high current, means that quality of first several WATTAGE is very high. Because of that in the night listening at small volume even when, in addition being the complaints part of symphony, eAR1001 plays back without collapsing detail clearly.
Sound stage and the sound field which eAR1001 presents spread to front and back direction and to left and right direction immense. I look at fantasy or virtual image of orchestra often in front of the speakers, sitting down just in the seat of the large hole, as listened the live concert.
The resolution of eAR1001 quite is satisfactory. All musical instruments full performance state becoming with ff, sound does not become turbid, separates completely and sounds good. While gran cassa and the timpani blow the storm, it is high resolution in the extent which can indicate the place where the faint oboe has sounded.
Color of the sound of eAR1001 is hyaline. The sound is not warm, is not cool, is not bright, is not dark. On the one hand, as for eAR1001 the impurity which is called the "character" generally (sweetness, it is fragrant, gloss, amorousness, ardor, moisture, stickiness, speed, impression and force altogether...) does not added to the music. I do not recommend eAR1001 to the romantic audiophile who expects colorfull reproduction to the amplifier. I think that eAR1001 is the truly pure sounding amplifier.

I have now listened some to my new eAR 1001 and wanted to share my
impression. An understatement is to say I am satisfied :).
Let me start by saying that I love listening to music and don´t care
much about material stuff or expensive stereo equipment. Music is what
counts to me, so if these eAR 1001 don´t reproduce music in a way that
makes me experience it more intense and real, then it´s goodbye to them
and back to my old amps that are quite good. My stereo equipment
consists of CD reader Yamaha CDX-1080 (modified by Harmony Design),
preamp Pre 906 with DA-converter (Harmony Design), poweramp Roger
Sperrling monoblocks and speakers DP3 (Roger Sperrling).
I expected that the eAR 1001 would need at least 200 hours of burn in
before I would hear the real sound quality, but I was mistaken. It was
obvious after the first hours of listening that this was something
different than from any other conventional amp I had listened to
before. The reviews I read before the buy made me expect much but I
still had some doubts because of critical opinions from some highly
regarded amp constructors on the market that I have talked to. But
fortunately for me and sadly for them, all my expectations have been
fulfilled. I would guess the conventional amp constructors know they
are just about to loose a market for their products.
So what do I hear and sense when I listen to eAR 1001? Well the first I
noticed was a more exact and clean sound. When I listened more I slowly
realised that other conventional amps regardless of price add an extra
voluminous sound, but that was now gone. Left was only the rich tone of
the voices and the instruments. No additives in other words. The
additives which makes you tired after listening for a while and which
is probably also the reason why most other amps are hard listening to
on high volumes. I guess this is why it still feels so right and
relaxing to listen to eAR 1001 on high volume.
Forget that this digital amp only is good in reproducing the lower
frequencies, it reproduces ALL frequencies more accurate than I have
ever heard before. They are tight, firm and absolutely real and
natural. You suddenly hear the real tone of all the instruments and
voices. The sound stage is precise in all directions and the musicians
are placed where they most likely stood during the recording. This was
obvious already after the first hours of listening and became more and
more obvious as the amps burned in.
Let me put it simple - I am so overwhelmed by the quality of the sound
that it makes me believe that expensive conventional amps soon will
loose their market, it´s just a matter of time. An extra bonus is of
course that the amps only get lukewarm and will hardly be noticed on my
electrical bill.

I purchased your model eAR 1001 monoblocks just recently. I am currently running a pair of
Apogee Duetta Signitures. I have to say that I am very impressed with these little amplifiers.
I was previously running a Classe CA-301, and your amplifiers just out performed the Classe in
every respect. Ribbon speakers need lots of power to sound good. I thought I had it with the
Classe at 600 watts per channel into 4 ohms. Aparently it wasn't enough. After I hooked up
the 1001 monoblocks the sound was much cleaner and more dynamic. It was just amazing that this
performace was comming out of these little amplifers. They still run cool to the touch, which
is great because I know my little girl won't get burned if she accidently touches the amplifiers.
I feel that these amplifers were made just for me and I wanted to let your company know that you
have made a superior product that really sounds and performs incredibly. Well done.
