Scandinavia's leading audio magazine 'High Fidelity' has tested the ICEpower® ASP-series you find
inside the previous made eAR® 1001 amplifier from Acoustic Reality.
Today, yo will find an optimized version inside new eAR 1001-REF and the new eAR 502-REF, both with an even better sound quality, that is audible
immediately after the power is turned on.
In particular the ICEpower® 1000ASP module, up against some of
the worlds best and most extreme hi-fi amplifiers on the market,
with outstanding results in ICEpower’s favour.
Below are some of the conclusions from the test:

has tested the first version of the eAR Two power amplifier from
Acoustic Reality.
In the article they give a detailed description of the test period
(six months long) and the article speaks for itself:
Unforgettable sound
You will not forget the sound - especially not once you have heard it. It is so
exquisite that it is impossible to forget! Primarily, it is so different
compared to the normal sound that it is hard to return to most analogue
amplifiers afterwards. And this is without regard to the price level.
Pure as spring water
The sound is simply pure and clear, thus, it is like drinking pure spring water
on a hot summer's day. With eAR Two you are totally convinced that you are
listening to the truth and nothing but the truth of the source material.
The sense of live music
Every time the result was convincing. Extremely detailed, almost explosively
dynamic and very natural volume realisation. Actually, we have never before
experienced hifi with so much 'sense of live music' as with the eAR Two
amplifiers.
Conclusion
With this amplifier, we can only judge 1-0 in the match against the traditional
technology. No other type of amplifier will be able to perform this kind
of power, dynamic, sense of 'hole through', and, at the same time producing a
distortion free sound picture. Whether you like the totally 'naked' and clear
way of playing is, of course, a matter of opinion. But it is a fact that both
the technical specifications and the listening results are no less than
fabulous and a great contrast to the price of the amplifier.

It sticks the music into the gym for a quick workout and has it exit moderately pumped and flushed.
Still, swapping between normal and Q outputs (remember to invert phase at the speakers in Q-mode),
quickly made clear that this adjustable feature was no mere marketing gimmick or designer fluff.
This is a serious piece that gives you certain tubular benefits without the usual heat, price or upkeep. The state of Denmark scores a big one with this good li'l 'un on the value/performance charts!
