Active Powered Tetra
Classic™
The handcrafted active powered Tetra Classic™ 3-way
loudspeaker contain the absolutely best raw materials available. The speakers
comes with a dedicated power amplifier with built-in active crossover. It is a
compact 3-way active loudspeaker system with a far bigger sound that anyone can
imagine.
The original cabinet endures, but the technologies are changing. The
active Tetra Classic™ loudspeaker is our original loudspeaker
cabinet design, that was all which could survive our strong requirements.
Now in 2003 the Tetra Classic™ loudspeaker is available in a 3-way Active
loudspeaker design with new enhanced Danish Handcrafted loudspeaker driver
units, new active crossover and new enhanced finish. Also a new improved and
expensive shipping box has been developed. The loudspeaker is 144cm (57 inch)
high.
The eAR Classic™ power amplifier contain 4 channels of 250 Watt RMS
each, which means there are 500Watt RMS available to each loudspeaker. The
active crossovers cut-off low frequencies to the midrange / tweeter power
amplifier channels and therefore the resolution is the highest possible to
obtain, far better than for example using mono-blocks to passive speakers. The
active powered Tetra Classic™ system is delivered with dedicated multi-wire
speaker cables.
All real loudspeaker designers knows that passive speakers are full of loss,
disadvantages, limitations and difficult to integrate into very different and
unknown listening environments. Our customers can adjust the active Tetra
Classic™ tweeter and bass to match his personal taste, hearing and listening
environment, it is extremely simple indeed. The level of the tweeter is
selected on the bottom of the speakers. It has three different tweeter levels,
'linear', 'smooth' and 'more smooth'. For extra costs the system can be
delivered with Acoustic Reality's proprietary Adaptive Bass Correction (AR ABC™),
an in-room bass correction system, which insures the perfect interface to the
listening environment. It is a system without level equalizing and without
processors to invert the bass response curve, the listener is not limited to a
single listening position, but the quality of the room is corrected. Isn't, time
to experience?
